I want to extract bacterial DNA from egg yolk and albumen without any enrichment step.
Is it possible to extract genomic DNA from egg yolk and albumen using common DNA extraction kits?
Or need an any treatment before DNA extraction? What kind of steps should be included? please give me some advices :)

Either the yolk is purified with Ficoll-400 density gradient centrifugation, followed by extraction of DNA
OR: Before DNA extraction, whole eggs are homogenized by vortex. DNA could be extract either by;
a. CTAB method with a simple modification (mixed with an equal volume of CTAB extraction buffer [1.4 M NaCl, 2% CTAB (cetyl trimethylammonium bromide), 100 mM Tris, 20 mM EDTA, pH 8.0, 1% polyvinylpyrrolidone-40], 2% of 2-mercaptoethanol and 100 μg/mL of proteinase K for 1h at 65°C with shaking. Then proceed with DNA extraction with chloroform method.
b. Using Qiagen Kit
