I also do not know that. You can try to design several concentrations, if there is no toxic level for Fe in poublications.

Natural soils have large amounts of iron but not necessarily are contaminated or toxic to live beings. The amount of Iron in solution dependes on soil pH and red-ox potential. Fe (3+) precipitates readily at pH above 3,5 unless there are chelating agents in solution. Under reduce conditions Fe(3+) reduces to Fe (+2) and becomes more mobile.
