hot fluid was passing through shell side and cold fluid passing through tube. convection heat transfer boundary condition assigned to the outer shell wall. but I did not find any temperature variation radially into tube wall and shell wall..the wall thickness is large compared to tube and shell dia. now, is it ok? I think temperature should varies radially in tube and shell wall.
It could happen that your simulation time it´s too short to generate a change in fluid radial temperature, because as you say the wall thickness is large, try to extend the simulation time or diminish the wall thickness, pay attention to the thermal conductivity of the wall material too.

Are your simulation in the steady state? If yes, may be the temperatures are static. Review the recomendations of Victor Palma and review the time or time dependance of your simulation.

Hi Noman how is your simulation going? I've seen your question just now. I believe, you already have solved the problem. If not, then make a try the following technique.
In my understanding, while radial variation in shell wall temperature may be negligible assuming zero thickness of the wall, the same for the tube wall is evident. Are using Fluent? If so, for steady state condition, you may try shell wall thickness to zero (and the assumption is reasonable too), and check for the wall thickness and shell conductivity for the tube. If it is transient, follow Mr Victor Palma's suggestion.
