i want a xenograft MDA MB231 cell line animal model. can ER, PR and HER2 negative model be prepared by using an immunodeficient mouse model eg. BALB mice and which chemical can be used for this purpose. kindly guide

MDA-231 xanograft model will require immuo-compromised mice, it is not possible otherwise. In case you have available BALB/C mice with you you can make a 4T1 or 4T1.2 (for higher metastasis) syngenic mice model which is relatively easy and fast. You can look in these following articles for details.

thanku Nandini for your guidance . this will help me a lot. just one more thing, i am going to study different receptors and signalling pathways as in part of targeted therapy in TNBC mouse model. will 4T1 induced model support this study, and i guess ER , PR and HER will not be negative in such model.
4T1 cells do not express ER, PR and HER2 this is why they are TNBC (which lacks these 3 receptors). Thats why we dont have targeted therapy for TNBC
