C longicaudata is a common indoor pest in Sweden, however they are quite tricky to get large numbers of (alive at least). I'll have one in my office in a petri dish and quite a few at home in my house. But I have not heard of any person that is breeding the species (on purpose).
Very thanks for your message. Yes, I know that it is difficult to catch up. I have a few dead specimens, but not suitable for genetic testing. If it would not be too much trouble, could you send me this specimen "from the petri dish of office." Let me give an address on the prive, if you agree. I would be very, very grateful.
Yes, I can send it to you. Just send me an email ([email protected]) How would you like me to preserve it? Alive? (could be difficult to keep it alive in the mail to Poland, but I can put it in the petri dish with some moist paper and hope for the best... Thomas
