I am working on formulation of tablet of hydrogel based orally controlled colon targeted dds. The ingridient iam using for hydrogel formation are HPMC K100 M and Eugradit RSPO. EUDRAGIT RSPO is a copolymer of ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and a low content of methacrylic acid ester with quaternary ammonium groups.
Degree of crossslinking can be important in this kind of work which must be control in low level. sometimes the ingredient is necessary to hydrolyses in determined pH.

I was just going through the spec sheet of "EUDRAGIT RSPO", and found that it is insoluble and has pH independent swelling.. From these I would like to say my opinions.
1. First and foremost , I would always hesitate to use methyl methaacrylate for any internal applications, as methyl methacrylate is know to cause skin/mucous membrane sensitization in some individuals and its difficult to (do not)biodegrade.
2. Secondly, since it has pH independent swelling and you intend to administer through oral route, it will start swelling up and start releasing of drug once the person takes in the mouth and you might end up with no/very less drug when it reaches the colon. (might be you should be using enteric coatings which will safeguard the tablet until it reaches the colon).
so if you able to address these issues, you are good to go..
Eudragit RSPO is neither soluble nor biodegradable. You can use Eudragit S 100, 12.5, Eudragit or FS 30D for colon targeting. They all dissolve above pH 7.
