What is your method of detection? From literature I find that methanolic extracts of C. igneus leaves contain a large number of phytochemicals such as carbohydrates, triterpenoids, proteins, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, and flavonoids .. Have you already done some literature search to narrow down what those 3 major compounds could be?
As u may know, there are always range of compounds in herbal extracts. You really need the standard for accurate conclusion. If the standard is not accessible to u, perhaps u analyse the extract by NMR spectroscopy to define the compounds in the sample. Then accordingly u estimate them by HPLC base on their reported retention times.
