I guess there are only some 'freaks' out in the wild / on RG knowing about Davidson's and modified Davidson's fixative.
You say, you "forgot" to add water to the modified fixative - not saying anything about
i) the modification of Davidson's fixative you use and / or
ii) the 'tissues' you fix (I and others only can guess) .
So - in general - I am sure about:
if you forgot to add nearly 50 or 53% 'water' (only referring to the modifications found in LATENDRESSE 2002, reference see below*) ),
your fixing component 'formaldehyde' and the other ingredients (alcohol & glacial acetic acid) remained undiluted and naturally therefore "it will affect the processing outcome" anyway, since your fixation is not state of the art / the fixative has been applied improperly/in an unsuited manner (I will not comment on basics in 'fixation of tissue(s)' here).
If you want to get serious information and help with your request it is a must to provide detailed information on your previous processing schedule and - if not presenting the recipe of your 'modified Davidson's fixative' to cite at least the source of your recipe / tissue processing.

Thanks a lot sir for your suggestions, I used modified davidson fluid (MDF- 6:3:1- formaldehyde:Ethanol:Acetic acid) for fixing of murine salivary gland tissue immediately after dissection. I forgot to add 50% water in the fixative and fixed the tissues. Tissue has got little harder but still the information are not missing.
