I am currently working with U87mg cell line. I am using MEM with NEAA+ 1mM Na Pyr+ FBS as media. The cells grow fine in T-25 flasks. But whenever i seed them in 96 or 12 well plate, they gets detached from the surface after 1-2 days. What could be the reason ?

Hi Sakshi,
There could be several reasons, however, I'm simply suspicious whether the 96/12 culture plates are surface treated dishes or not, as the cells were successfully attached to T-25 flasks.
Otherwise, coating the culture dishes with gelatin or collagen or more proper ECM for the cell line can be another way.
I believe checking the catalog number and information of your culture dishes at first with respect to surface treatment would be helpful!
