I have synthesis iron oxide nanoparticles need surface modification when introduce TEoS I got silane layer but not Oh group .Since this Oh group is necessary for further introduction of double bond .

TEOS hydrolysis works all the better in an aqueous ammoniacal solution and with an excess of ethanol. Please check the following documents.

Thank you for your answer I am following the same method but modefaction did not give me OH peak around 3000 to 3500 my graph is look very straight.
