I am so confused with regard to choosing the sample. So, what do you recommend me, undergraduate or postgraduate ? please provide the reason behind choosing the sample.

When choosing a sample, it is best to be clear about what is the 'population' from which the sample is to be selected. Perhaps you could reply by explaining what you think is the 'population' that is the focus of your study.
I totally agree with Keith Jones.
I don't think your worry should be about choosing between undergrads or postgrads, rather I think it should be about how representative your sample is with respect to the conclusions you can make with the sample. Access to your sample population is something you would also want to consider. You can also select your sample from both undergrads and post-grads (if that is your population) if you intend to make comparisons.
I agree with you Elizabeth. Sample could be from both as they would better represent your target population and strengthen the generalizability and external validity of the results of your study.
When you say that the population from which you wish to sample is EFL learners, does it matter to your research question what is the first language of the population?
