The paradigm of research is scientific. So, I will conduct pre-post test to investigate the effect of humorous videos on english idiom learning. Also, i will conduct closed questionnaire to reach the learners' attitudes toward using humorous videos?
My questions are:
1/ Is there a mistake if i use the following words "investigate the effectiveness" as the main aim of my research although it is scientific?
2/ Is there a mistake if i use closed questionnaire to reach the learners' attitudes toward using humorous videos?
1.Your topic is so general ,and you are going to specifies it in your sub topics,however your topic sentence is not clear enough to take readers attention and know what are you going to talk about. Your topic sentence should be like this( humorous has effectivness in English idioms )
2.there is no worries if u use a list involving questions , because you are going to provides many evidence over your research, for readers to realise that it has effectiveness.
