I wood like to study the NHEJ mechanism and especially the molecular mechanism involving the gene Cernunnos. Cernunnos is also named NHEJ1 or XLF in human. I have already bought an antibody against XLF, but it doesn't work. Thus I am looking for a manufactury that are specialised in antibody production, and especially for mice host.
There was a thread on this under the "antibody production" tag, the question was "Can anyone suggest a company for synthesizing a customized antibody?". There were a number of recommendations.
In addition to what Daniel wrote it may be interesting to notice that for protein antigens that are complicated to raise an efficient immune response against (by which ever reason), there are companies (like Aldevron, QED Bioscience and others) that provide a "genetic immunization" by transferring the genetic information rather than the antigen peptide/protein itself. Avacta Life Sciences provides the so-called "Affimer" technology as a very interesting (but IMHO rather expensive) alternative to classical antibodies.
If you prefer "classical" immunization and antibody development: In the past I had received some quotations from Abbiotec, Biotem, and EZBiolab.
