I am looking for a place to buy MoS2 nanoparticles, but it should be in a real nanometer size. I bought two materials which were declared as nano but in fact, it was much - much bigger like 2-3 microns. If you have the personal good experience I will be very happy for the help.
As an alternative, I looking for the method for synthesis such small particles of MoS2 but it should be relatively easy and reproducible methods.
My team has long experience with the synthesis of gold and silver nanoparticles. If you will be interested with well characterised AgNP or AuNP and you have nice MoS2 nanoparticles we can exchange our nanomaterials - of course after a discussion about details.
Any help and/or suggestion will be very welcome.

The particles need to be preserved in colloidal suspension, not filtered or dried, to preserve their nano nature. See:

By the way, did you measure the specific surface area of your materials? How did you conclude that they were 2 - 3 microns?
In my view, it is much more convenient to prepare than to buy nano materials.
