I am just solving the MATLAB built-in example "watertank". I want to linearize the system on a certain operating point. Although I am following the exact steps as given in the MATLAB help section however I am getting an error "too many input arguments". Please share valuable suggestions and experiences for this type of issue.

Thanks, Naveed. Later I have realized that it is actually the problem of MATLAB software. The example is very simple and I have solved it on another PC.
If your input is specified by file names, keep in mind that blanks are considered separators. Maybe doublequotes can help.

Joachim Pimiskern the problem was actually linked with the MATLAB software because when I executed the same example on another version of MATLAB software, it executed well with no error. Although my problem is now solved but what was the reason for the error? is still a mystery.
Actually I've no experience with MATLAB. You said you ran the software on another PC. I still suspect there's an issue with path names containing blanks. If you use a different PC, the installation or database places might differ. You can open a command line shell and type the command 'set'. The environment variables are shown. Particularly, the variable USERPROFILE might be on one computer C:\Users\Duck, on another computer C:\Users\Donald Duck, and suddenly you have a blank in certain paths.

This is probably a name shadowing problem. In other words your model has a name which belongs to "something" which is already known to your Matlab install: a built-in function, a function/model from a saved/opened path, etc. try changing the name of your model and check wheter it will work again.
