If I have two layer thin film, for example the first layer is Si and the second layer is some other layer and I want change following parameters of this second layer :1) Real part of the refractive index, 2)Imaginary part of the refractive index,3)Width of the second layer. How the reflectance from the thin film will behave in this case?
I want develop intuition in this field? Thank you in advance!

this will create a 1D photonic crystal and the thickness of two films will define photonic band gap (low transmission or high reflectance).
@Adam, are you know why Substrate must be significantly larger than the thin layer itself? Why this assumption is used in your link?
The variation in the deposition parameter will change the properties like optical, the increase in the thickness of thin film will decrease the transmission, this will affect on the energy band gap, reflective index etc, this will give hopefully good results
Adding to the above suggestions. Growth conditions effect roughness of the films, which reduces the reflectivity apart from other physical parameters like film thicknesses, refractive index etc.
