Using the Zetasizer Nano Series ZS90, it gives the notification that my results are poor due to the phase quality of the sample and suggests increasing the number of sub runs per reading.
After consulting the manual it continues to suggest manually increasing the number of subruns but I cannot seem to find the method for doing so. I have already selected in my SOP the advanced option for saving the subrun data. Thank you.
Hello Brendan Rucci , you can change the number of subruns in possibly two ways:
- automatic settings: change the maximum number of subruns to a higher value
- manually fix the number of subruns.
see attached screen snippet to find it in the software, when setting up the measurement. A question to consider is: can you do something to your data to make them better so that you do not need more subruns, i.e. dilute / concentrate / use a different cell? Feel free to attach a dts file.
