I am not familiar with C programming but I needed to write a udf file to employ in my cfd thermal analysis of a 2D enclosure. How would I go about it?
Attached is a file that I have written following the ANSYS fluent udf manual. However, it has fail to work. Would any one be kind to help me construct a working transient heat flux boundary condition for my analysis?

The udf looks fine. Would you mention what type of error you had?
My only observation on the code is the way you write the comments. For me I place the comments as /* .... */ as in the examples in the UDF manual. Having it as "// ...." should be also fine in terms of C programming. However, it may cause error in fluent compiling. Please consider writing the comments as /* .... */ (remove the semi column after the comment as well and please let me know if that works.
You need also a condition statement after "else"

Hi Wael Elsaady , thank you for your comment. I have tried your way. However, I get an error massage in line 16 regarding the equation used was not compatible with the program reader. It is not executing the command.
