Currently, I am working on LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 materials. Its relative properties of elastic, permittivity, and stress can be extracted for various orientations of cut (128/36 degrees) using the BOND method. I have extracted it for various orientations using MATLAB code. But, how these data can be validated?
One efficient way to evaluate is to refer to books or articles where people have experimentally shown and tabulated those values for the same materials referred above. Usually, papers on materials characterization for SAW substrates will help better.
If there are mathematical equations to those, upon validating from experimental results, you can validate your data using the same mathematical equations to check if it matches with what people have claimed before. It's always better to refer to books, especially the latest editions of David Morgan and C. Campbell.
One way of validating your results is to refer to catalogues of the companies that fabricate these materials. Among these companies, you can ask help from NANOLN, UNITED CRYSTALS, ....
There is also a book chapter that discusses the properties of LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 crystals. The chapter first introduces the main properties of LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 crystals and the acoustic properties. The chapter then presents the physical basis of nano- and micro-domain engineering in LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 crystals.
