I've been trying to use a road mill to crush biomass from 20mm to 0.4 mm. I wanted to apply Rittinger's law as it corresponds to particle diameters of less than 0.5mm. I haven't found any information and after trying different configurations and different inputs I haven't obtained any change in the particle size on the results. Does someone has any idea of why it happens?

Thank you for your answer. In my case, I'm working with a non-conventional solid (That's the only component that came in a substream on the mainstream entering into the crusher), and also I specified in the crusher configuration that it was solid, but without good results.
Yes. For the PSD mesh, I selected an interval of 3 which is around 20mm. The lower limit is 19 and the upper limit is 20mm.
