How to use the linear mixed model (in SPSS) for repeated measures (present self-appraisals - future self-appraisals) in context of two independent variables: 1) self-esteem (continuous variable), 2) temporal distance (dichotomous variable), and 3) their interaction.
How to do enter the independent variables? as factors or as covariates?
I'll be grateful for a hint

You should enter your dichotomous variable as a factor and continous variable as covariate and declare their interaction.
