I have prepared a pH-responsive polymer attached to an anticancer agent and now I am looking for a method to exam the activity of this formula in the lab, So if anyone suggests a method to measure the biological activity I will be thankful.
You can evaluated this cytotoxicity using the GC-MS analytical device after purification of target cell cytosol and evaluation of drug concentration inside of target cells. Also, you can take pathological section from target tissue and evaluate the necrosis in the target tissues.
You can examine biological activity using cell viability assay (for example, MTS test is one of the easiest). So you can compare concentrations at which your anticancer drug and prodrug you made kills 50% of cancer cells (IC50 value).
