How to submit sequences in NCBI?

Kindly tell me the whole procedure for submitting gene sequences in NCBI. The sequence length is 400-450 bases (Promoter region of MDR 1 gene).

You need to register in Bankit, and follow the instructions. Go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/WebSub/?tool=genbank

and click on "sign in to use BankIt" on the right-hand side once you've checked the required info. Good luck. Claire
