Dear colleagues,

Do you know how to store an aqueous soluion of folic acid? (The SDS sheet says it is inherently unstable)

I resuspended it in water with adjusting pH to ~10 with NaOH until all of the folic acid grains dissolved. It was then filtered through 0.2 um filter and stored at 4'C, its final pH was ~8.4.

How long would it be stable at 4'C for use in cell culture?

Can this solution be frozen and for how long?

All suggestions welcome,

Thanks,

Maria
