I think it's better to try it at higher temperatures and higher concentrations, I attached the article that has comprehensively reviewed methods of dissolving the silk fibroin, I think the best one would be dissolving the degummed SF fibers in a mixture solution (pH 1–6) containing acid (HCl, or H2SO4) and a neutral salt (LiBr or CaCl2) that is heated at 80–100 C for 30–60 h.

First of all, thank you for your answer and all the information you provided me. I found it very interesting, sadly all of that is about the first solubilization of the silk fibroin after you have done the degumming. My problem comes after all of this when I already have soluble silk fibroin and I tried to lyophilize it and then resolubilized it in water; since I want to be able to have larger quantities of the biopolymer and not have to worry about the gelation of the aqueous solution of silk fibroin that is obtained
