Hi everyone, there is my issue:
I try to synthetize nanoparticule of Chitosan according with this study doi: 10.1016/j.colsurfb.2011.09.042
I try it with HMW Chitosan (340-360kDa) but when I put 50mg of Chitosan(HMW) into 100mL of Acetic Acid solution (0.2mg/mL) and stirred it overnight; the Chitosan has not been disolved. The pH of this solution was 4.2 whereas in the study they have a solution with a pH of 3.6 so I added 50µL of pure acetic acid and I got a pH = 3.66. I stirred again but it was not efficient so I tried to put it in a wave tank (not efficient) then I heated it (60°C) but not efficient again...
So, does anyone know how to dissolved it ?
