It is known that wood has high tensile and flexural strength, my question is about how to simulate the wooden bars or plates in reinforced concrete sections using ANSYS program. Reinforced concrete is simulated by Solid 65 element, steel bars by Link 8 or Link180 but what about wood plates or bars?

Wood is an orthotropic material, so you need the elastic orthropic constants to model it. Look for references of characterizations made with the species of wood you are working on
