We are studying the possibility to add Population Balance Equations (PBE) in CFD FLUENT code to simulate nanoparticle formation in agitated tank or T-mixer. Does any one have some reading suggestions (tutorials, paper, Thesis,..) ? We know that the german code PARSIVAL (see attached) can solve PBE, is it possible to connect it to Fluent to solve this coupled problem or is it simpler to use directly Users functions of FLUENT?
