The process of burning the coke and auxiliary fuels in the combustion area is a complex process. Usually simulations are made for different particular correlations, such as the dimensions of the raceway zone , depending on the aerodynamic characteristics of the air jet. This can be done cold, at 150 - 170 gr.C with naphthalene granules. There are many researches in which combustion chambers were used in which metallurgical coke was burned similar to the combustion mode in the blast furnace but on 1/5 scale - 1/2.
