Hey everyone,
I've designed a core mismatch structure of single-mode fibers, based on COMSOL Multiphysics to see the propagation, but whenever I try meshing, it gives the following error: "Failed to create matching edge discretizations." Hence, I tried other meshing options and again faced the same problem. I would be highly thankful if anyone here can help me out of this.

Sure. Here it is. I deleted distribution and changed maximum element size in mapped mesh to 0.5. This way you could mesh the whole domain without a problem but numerical cost is substantially higher. But with mapped mesh and the discolation you have in your geometry this seems inevitable.
