Hi, I want to set up a time-use survey using Qualtrics. The instrument is modelled after the UK Adult Time Use survey (see attached file on the layout). As you can see from the layout of the questions, the time-of-day, activities, with whom, rating of experiences, etc are structured horizontally - i.e., respondents answer each row by row based on time-of-day. Is it possible to set up as it is on Qualtrics? The Qualtrics format seems limited to one column of question only, whereas in time-use, there are multiple columns. Any advice is most appreciated. Have you asked the folks at Qualtrics? Their support for the platform is said to be very good. Whoever is the license holder for the version you're using may have a direct link to technical support, or you could try this link: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/
Good luck with your work.
They also have a community of users that answer questions. Be warned though that with the user-friendliness of the software comes some inflexibility. You may need to use its boxes for entering java script, and even then you might have to just write things yourself in other software.
