I am working on the Marangoni convection in liquids using COMSOL Multi-physics.
I think you need to put your boundary conditions in its general form and not in cartesian coordinates (gradient form). Write your equation in the global expression.

However, I have two problems to be solved, first : How to add a vector form expression in COMSOL Mutliphysics (particularly in weak expression)?
Second: I could not find any form of the 3D shear force.

I think you can simply set your surface tension (a function depending on T) in the multiphysics part of the model.
