when i test catalyst of durability for oxygen reduction reaction in chronoamperometry method, we have to input the initial, low and high voltages. how do we decide on the voltages to be applied in? I have CV data and LSV for catalyst (see examples attached) and I am wanting to know which potential values(including initial, low and high voltage) I should use for chronoamperometric experiments?
Chronoamperometry can be performed either under controlled potential (potentiostatic) or controlled current (galvanostatic) modes. Therefore, your question does not make sense. In addition, on your CV I don't see any signs of catalysis. The peak at around 1 V seems to be quasi-reversible, The peak around 0.78 V may indicate the growing a film on electrode surface.
First, make sure that peak obtained at ~0.8 V is due to oxygen reduction.
You shouldn't go such positive potential while doing ORR and check your electrode surface carefully, it seems something is adsorbed on the electrode surface.
