Hello everyone,

As I am not expert in statistics, I am having doubts regarding multiple regression analysis.

  • To predict E, if I use four different independent variable (e.g., A, B, C, D) and results shows A, B, C, has significant (95% confidence) and D has insignificant coefficient values. Coefficient value for A, B, C and D are 0.87, 3.62, -0.35 and 144.6 respectively. Then what does it mean? In this case in multiple regression equation, should I not include D?
  • What is the meaning of significant or insignificant constant values?
  • Does negative coefficient value of C depict, C has negative impact on E or something else? And why D is showing such a high coefficient value?
  • Can anyone help me in this regard?
