Hi Dear Colleagues,
I recently receive a manuscript back with the comments and suggestions.
One of the reviewers is asking for additional measurements (which I agree should be done) but Unfortunately I am not able to provide.
Both me and the second author (involved in this measurements) we are not longer working in the University and we moved to another country.
Despite I could show additional data and calculations that supports our paper and address the reviewer comment: what is the best way of overcome or justify this point?

Try as hard as you can to do the extra work, since you acknowledge it has to be done. Where there's a will, there's a way :)

It depends on whether or not the reviewer considers additional experiments ultimately important to the article's conclusions. If not, s/he will not insist and most likely either reduce the issue to something easy and insignificant, or just make a publishing recommendation.

In fact, given the situation you've illustrated, there's nothing else you can do.
Great reviewer. I make such requests all the time, but I realize one is often done with field work. Two major solutions: express as a limitation and need for future research.
