We intend to reuse a figure in a manuscript we are preparing for submission in another journal (different publisher) and we would like if someone could advise us on the process for obtaining this permission from Elsevier.

Go to the article's webpage on Elsevier and click on "Get rights and content." This will redirect you to the Copyright Clearance Center’s RightsLink website. From there, complete the necessary forms with your personal information and specify that the reuse is for academic purposes. You will then receive a permission agreement for your request. The entire process will take few minutes.
