The ultrasound gel which is commercially available contains lot of air bubbles.Which creates lot of noise while scanning.
How to avoid the air bubbles in the gel such that the scan wont have much noise?
In general, the air-bubbles are removed when with carefull probe handling during the scanning when the probe is being well closed on the skin.
Hello Arun,
In a research-setting, we used to centrifuge the gel for removing all bubbles. Hope it helps!
Cheers,
Mithun
