Hi, I have just opened my ResearchGate profile. I was asked to confirm authorship for 3 papers, but not the rest. Now, there is a number of papers that were authored by my namesake in my profile. I would like to remove them, but I do not know how. Kindly suggest the solution, since it is very uncomfortable to see other people's work listed as my own. I would like to fix this issue as soon as possible.

If yours is a case of identity theft, the publishers will not have any other options but to cure the harm brought to your name. In the USA, identity theft is a serious crime.
