The polarity of my product is very similar to DCU and i cannot remove it by using column chromatography. Can anyone suggest me an effective method to remove DCU other than using EDC as coupling agent.

you may try with a RP column in HPLC

You may triturate the compound in acetonitrile, it has been very efficient for me in the past the DCU by product being insoluable in Acetonitrile
You can even carry out your reaction in acetonitrile and filter at the end
