Plastic pollution is a major problem worldwide. Plastic is now everywhere, from top of mountains to depths of oceans. Even human body now contains microplastic particles. Therefore, there is an urgent need to reduce plastic use.

Being a Biomedical Scientist, I observed that in the laboratory, much plastic is used in the form of plastic tips. Many automated analyzers use hundreds of plastic tips per day in a single laboratory, which are discarded after single use.

Can anyone suggest how to reduce plastic use in a medical diagnostic laboratory to control plastic pollution ?
