How to recover rotavirus from samples stored under glycerin?

I am working on stool samples stored under glycerin , but there is an excess and mixing of glycerin with the stool sample , this lead to lowering the RNA yield due to sample dilution,

How can i increase the RNA yield from those samples ?

note : I use trizol method for RNA extraction .

you can use 1% SDS in you lysis buffer, you could precipitate most of unwanted chemicals, Rinse the pellet with 70%ethanol to remove the salts.

How does one remove (Lysis solution for total RNA + β mercapto-ethanol) when used as a lysis agent? -
