I am predicting the residual stress in steel beams after fire exposure. For this purpose, I am doing a thermal analysis applying the temperature results obtained from the thermal analysis model into the stress analysis model (use .odb file in the predefined field), keeping Begin step, Begin increment, End step & End increment same as 1.  I am getting the following error message: Heat transfer elements cannot be used in a static analysis At least one of degrees of freedom 1 thru 6 or 8 must be active in the model for this procedure type. Check the procedure and element types used in this model. *temperature may not be used with elements that possess temperature degrees of freedom. Use *boundary to prescribe boundary conditions on temperature Analysis Input File Processor exited with an error. I have attached my thermal .odb file and stress error file.
