I want to know how to plot factor scores extracted from a geochemical dataset and plot back on the map? For example map for Factor 1 etc... In SPSS I do not see any option where I can relate factor scores back to sample id or location

You can save factor scores.
And then you can plot different graphs using them.
What graph do you actually wish to draw?

You can try XL-Stat also to prepare statistical maps particularly for plotting factor scores and biplots. It is a very efficient tool.
