Can anyone tell me how to perform the range of linearity in the validation of analytical methodology? Minimum 5 points and 3 different stock solutions is how I do it, but there is another way?

May I know 3 different stock means either three different component solution or different concentrations of one component?
Hi Dr Jampani: well, Each of the active components of the formulation, three stock solutions are made and from these six dilutions performed between 50 and 150% of the theoretical concentration reading. Then each of the 18 resulting solutions are then injected in duplicate to do the test of linearity and regression. There are some researchers who say that one could prepare stock solution, prepare and inject 6 triplicate dilutions: is this true?
