I already know how to perform eigenvalue buckling analysis and obtain critical buckling loads.

As I guess, for post buckling analysis, we first have to obtain critical buckling mode shape and consider this as a initial configuration for the problem (plate or shell), then with a large deformation analysis we can get the postbuckling path.

Am I right?
