How to perform DNA isolation of female root knot nematodes?

I tried various protocols but not getting good quality DNA, can you please help?

A few weeks ago I found a protocol for DNA extraction that is fast, cheap and non toxic. Here is the respective paper:

Miller et al. Nucleic Acid Research 16(3), 1988

I used this method successfully in chordoma cell lines that are notoriously difficult since the cells produce a lot of collagen that clogs the columns.
