I need to obtain information of the prostate volume changes during the brachytherapy for my project. The software used in the collaborating clinic is Variseed for brachytherapy dosimetry. In the brochure of the software I see is possible to obtain a so-called "User-defined report for contiguous volume analysis" has anyone experience with the software and this feature?

Contiguous Volume Analysis in Variseed has nothing to do with what you want to investigate. Changes of the prostate volume need to be evaluated by new scans of the prostate, using Ultrasound or CT or MR and using the contouring features in VariSeed.
Dear Georg,
I tried to check this alternative since my clinical partner told me that each new ultrasound acquisition during the operation ovewrites the previous one and this is a problem for the therapy plan since it will be lost if its overwritten. I wonder if you are familiar with a way to overcome this issue that my partner isn't?

there are 2 possibilities. The first one is you create new studies. The second one is you archive your study in the patient manager and reimport it. Then you get the option to create a copy of the study in which you can overwrite the images.

Dear Georg,
Regarding your answer in my question my partner told me that everytime a new study is created there is the need of a calibration step of the system which is time consuming to do it multiple times for acquiring more images. Is there a way to save the previous calibration?

Of course there is. And the last calibration comes up as the default. You just need to click through the wizard to confirm nothing has changed.
