Hi, I wanna numerically model (FEM) a tunnel section in 2D an perform a dynamic analysis. I want to use crack models for the steel fiber reinforced concrete liner. Yet softwares like plaxis which are great for tunneling problems don't have these material models, but u can define them as user defined material models using subroutines (http://www.plaxis.nl/files/files/2D-3-Material-Models_02.pdf). Does anyone have the crack material model subroutine (as a .dll file)?
Or equivalently does anyone have any example models of 2D tunnel sections in layered soil in ABAQUS?

Try using a software called DIANA, it is excellent in such applications
You can modify the following attached C++ code to perform numericalyl model steel fiber reinforced concrete (it work with dealii : www.dealii.org)
You might try using the User-Defined Model for shotcrete that can be asked directly to Plaxis (http://kb.plaxis.nl/models/udsm-shotcrete-model) and includes cracking...
