I want to simulate the flow and heat transfer in slurry consists of water and some percentage of phase change materials in channel. when this slurry or suspension enter to the channel is heated and these microencapsulated phase change materials is melted. my problem is I don't know how to introduce the value of volume fraction percentage of PCM in the slurry in fluent to tell fluent that the fluid is not PCM in all, but it contain a percentage of PCM in water .
I'm looking for an information about how to simulate this suspension and how to process the melting of the microencapsulated PCM in fluid and entering its value of volume fraction in fluent.

you can use effective properties to model the slurry flow. the following paper can help you to understand this. by using this model you just need to define a fluid with new property.
