In order to make a successful numerical model using ABAQUS software,to examine the prestress force effect on the longitudinal vibration frequencies to be in good agreement with the experimental tests from the literature that deals with the prestress level effection on the post-tensioned beams from the measurment of the wave velocity on the cables.
In prestressed concrete beams there appear to be a paradoxical analytical understanding compared to experimental behaviour where the natural frequencies measured in laboratory take an exponential growth , in case of increasing the the prestressing force. However the numerical model based on analytical representation of the prestressing force which act as compression force on the concrete beam will eventually drop the rigidity of the structure and give a decreasing natural frequencies value, so may be a correction method for the whole analytical model will produce a numerical one that works in accordance with experimental based data. good luck

To explain more, the problem is about the axial pres-tress force effect on the wave velocity propagation, from the experimental literature the wave velocity raise with raising the applied tension force on the tendons and this results conduct to propose a changing in the young's modulus , since the wave velocity depends on it and the density.
my problem is to succeed a numerical approach that could be closer to the experimental results.
